UPDATE: Axl wasn't the only member of the original line up to skip the ceremony, Izzy Stradlin was sadly absent, as well. showing up to represent GUNS N' ROSES were Slash, Duff McKagen, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum & Gilby Clarke. they played "Sweet Child O' Mine," "Mr. Brownstone" and "Paradise City" fronted by Myles Kennedy. he being a man blessed with an ever powerful voice makes me think/hope that the guys went up there, had fun, played hard, and made that DICK Axl Rose regret not being there.
